Well aware of the challenges of false and misleading information on the internet, Richelle Witherspoon initially set out to understand what causes some people to fall prey to false- and pseudo-scientific information, while others do not. Her research led her to a shocking conclusion: the two groups have a lot more in common than either would like to believe.
